GRAL MASTER 2 SCHOLARSHIPS 2023-2024

GRAL MASTER 2 SCHOLARSHIPS: For the academic year 2023–2024, the Grenoble Alliance for Integrated Structural and Cell Biology (GRAL) awards MSc research fellowships. Candidates who did not complete their BSc in Grenoble and intended to enroll in one of the English-taught Master programs at Université Grenoble Alpes may apply for these scholarships, which are funded by the Chemistry Biology Health (CBH) Graduate School of Université Grenoble Alpes. Additionally, the students must do a research internship in Integrated Structural & Cell Biology at one of the Grenoble labs affiliated with the GRAL program, which includes 4 months of coursework and 6 months of research internship for the majority of the program, a maximum of 6 GRAL scholarships are available.

Requirements

Interested candidates must submit an application to one of UGA’s Master’s programs and make contact with a possible research internship supervisor.
The application must be emailed to Anne-mathilde.thierry_at_ibs.fr as a single PDF file.
The submission window closes on May 14th, 2023 at 23:59 CET.

The following documents must be included with the application:

A resume covering letter mentioning the chosen MSc program.
A CV.
Copies of the last two academic years’ transcripts and diplomas.
Language competency (for those who are not native English speakers).
One recommendation letter.
Application number for the e-candidate portal (if known).

For the application to be taken into consideration for the program, it is crucial to make sure that it has all required documentation and is submitted before the deadline.

When they accept your application, administrative registration happens. It takes the form of paying for college expenses and receiving a student ID.

Step 03

The process of selecting and registering for the courses for the academic year is known as pedagogical registration. It enables assignment to controlled work groups. Only after the administrative registration has been approved can the pedagogical registration be completed.

You can view your schedule at any moment during the academic year online. It enables you to look up your course schedules, learn about the locations of the classes, and learn the instructors’ names. You can also receive real-time updates on schedule modifications thanks to it.

The year after they are earned, diplomas are published. They can be gathered in person, by proxy, or by mail.

Fees

A 5000 euro scholarship is awarded during the first semester, and a gratification de stage (about 550 euro per month) is given during the research internship. EU and non-EU students who did not complete their undergraduate studies in Grenoble but moved there for their first or second master’s year are eligible to apply.

Opening Call For Applications

Applications must be received by May 14th, 2023, when the call for applications opens in March 2023. The outcomes will be made public in June 2023. There is also a list of research internships that are eligible for the GRAL Master 2 Research Scholarship for the academic year 2023–2024; GRAL will only grant a single scholarship per research group or team.
